Asking a Public Question at an Authority Meeting

Members of the public are entitled to ask a public question at full Authority meetings and Authority Committees, relating to the work of the Authority. Questions should be submitted in writing to the Chief Executive at least three clear working days prior to the meeting.

If you raise a question and wish to attend the meeting, the question will be read out at the start of the meeting and responded to by the Authority's Chair, or the Committee Chair; this will be recorded in the minutes of the meeting. If you raise a question but are not able to attend we will provide you with a written response.
