South West Police Authorities' Joint Committee

To pursue opportunities to collaborate that appear capable of furthering the Shared Vision and embody this as a targeted and specific programme of work in the South West Annual Business Plan

Gloucestershire Police Authority shares a common vision with its regional policing partners: “Making the South West safer and increasing public confidence in policing.” We are committed to collaborating closely, both operationally and as organisations, so that individually and collectively our Forces are more effective and efficient, making the South West safer and the public more confident.
We have put in place new governance and programme management arrangements to help us manage our expanding portfolio of joint initiatives. The South West Police Authorities' Joint Committee, incorporating representatives from Devon and Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Police Authorities, determines and monitors our collaborative ventures.
